Three brothers named Bob, Barry and Bernie Bnasty fulfill their lifelong dream and open up a little burger joint. But business is not good. The cooks can't cook. The service is slow. Matters go from bad to worse when a disgruntled patron hurls a rock at their fabulously expensive sign rendering it B-less and leaving it to read Nasty Burgers. You might think this would spell the end of the brothers but instead their incompetence is mistaken by the public for genius and they become the gurus of a new disposable culture.
Shot on a budget of $49 000 with a second hand 16mm camera, a homemade dolly and a SONY Pro Walkman to record sound.
Nasty Burgers premiered at the Bloor Cinema in Toronto to a sell out crowd of 500 before playing in cinemas across Canada.
